The new Cadbury logo seems to be raising a few eyebrows, unnecessarily in my opinion. It’s the first time in 50 years the chocolate brand have updated their iconic logo.
Many people see the cost of £1million which is a headline that is very misleading. It isn’t the cost of the logo. To implement that through their branding is the significant cost. The marketing communications around it are huge and understandably required.
The agency involved did a fantastic job. It’s beautifully executed. I really like it. Lovely nod to the heritage of the brand by incorporating the original owners signature or part of. Sweet!
